Client: Center for Alcohol and Substance Education
(now the Gordie Center for Substance Abuse Prevention)
Deliverables: Logo Design, Identity Package, and Web Design
The Center for Alcohol and Substance Abuse Education at the University of Virginia needed an image to express their twin goals of education about and recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. I designed this logo blending those objectives with the strength that accrues from meeting them. Incorporating the UVA school colors links CASE to its sponsoring university.
Once the logo was established, I worked with staff to identify and organize all of the information that they needed on their new website. I designed this website so that staff could use content management software to make updates as needed. This website served them well until their move and name change. In fact their new logo (not my work) utilizes the tree element from the original.
